The Mercedes-Benz EQ is a new serie of battery electric vehicles made by Mercedes-Benz. The first generation EQ concept car was shown for the first time at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The Mercedes-Benz EQC is the first product of the EQ family.
The EQC is a compact, 5-door sport utility vehicle (SUV) that entered the market in 2019. In some markets, the car is sold under the name EQC 400 4 Matic. The EQC has 2 electric motors on the front and rear axles with a total power of 300 kW (402 bhps), four-wheel drive and a torque of 765 Nm. The 80 kW battery is floor mounted and the estimated range is approximately 450 km.

Mercedes EQC 400 4 Matic
The EQC accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds and has a range of approximately 400 kilometers. The battery capacity of the EQC is 80 kW with an average power consumption of 22.2 kWh. The Mercedes is allowed to tow a trailer with a braked weight of 1800 kilos.
The EQC is made at the Mercedes-Benz plant in Bremen. The EQC price for a standard model starts at € 80,995. Also used Mercedes-Benz EQC will shortly hit the market and will obviously cost you a bit less.
EQC Electric Engines and Battery pack
The Mercedes EQC 400 4 Matic is powered by 2 asynchronous electric motors, one on the front axle and one on the rear axle. These together produce 300 kW (402 hp). The top speed is limited to 180 km/h and the car consumes 197 Wh/km. The car also has a rechargeable battery. The 80 kWh battery pack has a modular design and consists of 384 lithium-ion cells. This battery can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in 40 minutes with a DC fast charger.
